Nurses needed at Camp La Vida, SC 2024

Actively licensed SC RNs or NLC multistate licensed RNs are need for SCWMU's summer camps. Cindy Skelton Camp LaVida Program Director needs them for the weeks below.

June 10-14- 2 Nurses needed

June 17-21 – 1 Nurse needed

June 24-28 – 1 Nurse needed

July 8-12 – 1 Nurse Needed

July 15-19- 1 Nurse needed

Lodging and meals are included. Camp La Vida is located about 40 minutes north of Columbia SC.  Cindy is glad to answer any questions for RNs interested in serving there. cindyskelton@scbaptist.org

Serve in Armenia-Serve with Send Relief-Serve Tour

This trip is intended for 8-9 teams of 6-8 adults, each having various skill sets. As this Serve Tour will be held in collaboration with International Mission Board healthcare strategies, multiple teams must include a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant, two nurses, a physical therapist, two non-medical personnel and potentially a pharmacist and/or a medical student.

Discuss exercise and various responses people have related to committing to a program

Discuss scripture and how physical activity can restore/improve pain, sleep habits, cognitive function, relaxation etc.

Explain types of physical activity & examples of each– cardio, strengthening, and stretching.

Brainstorm ways to get in  daily physical activity without additional cost

Describe benefits of exercise in service to our God, work, and families
